I have always been attracted to the thin pins of English dovetails. Not only are they indicative of a more refined level of craftsmanship, but they tend to be more visually interesting than pins which are nearly the same size as the tails.Merribuffet detail

I designed the seven pairs of brass drop pulls to complement the formal, art deco feel of the piece. They were machined by a local machinist, George Thomsen, who does a lot of work for the school and woodworkers in the area.
