Calendar		 The motivating idea behind this piece was that I wanted to do something that I thought my mother would like. As she grew up in the '30's, I wanted to have some of the feeling of that era.

dressing tableThe simplicity of the Arts and Crafts style appealed to me before I knew what is was called. The streamlined elegance of the Art Deco period seems to me to be a logical progression of the desire to simplify with style.
